Application process:
E-visa: The e-visa is a new online visa application system that allows Nigerian citizens to apply for a South African visa from the comfort of their own home. The application process is quick and easy, and the visa is usually issued within 24 hours.
Paper visa: If you are unable to apply for an e-visa, you can apply for a paper visa at one of the South African visa application centers in Nigeria. The application process is more complex, and the visa may take up to 10 working days to be issued.
Documents required:
Valid passport: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of your intended arrival in South Africa.
Completed visa application form: You can download the application form from the South African Department of Home Affairs website.
Passport-sized photographs: You must submit two passport-sized photographs that meet the South African Department of Home Affairs requirements.
Proof of accommodation: You must provide proof of accommodation in South Africa, such as a hotel reservation or a letter from a friend or family member who is willing to host you.
Proof of onward travel: You must provide proof of onward travel, such as a plane ticket or a bus ticket.
Proof of financial means: You must provide proof that you have sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay in South Africa.
